Several Versions of the 2018 Honda Civic are Available
The 2018 Honda Civic is a car that stands out on many levels starting with the impressive number of versions it offers. Including the high-performance Type R and Si versions, there are no less than five variants of the new Civic.
The sedan is the best-selling model while the two-door Coupé model is designed for those who want a Civic that stands out a little more on the road. Next is the Honda Civic Hatchback that offers more than 500 litres of cargo space for better versatility.
The entry-level engine in the Civic family is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. In addition to consuming less than 7.0 litres per 100 kilometres, this engine is one of the most powerful in the compact car segment. That said, a 1.5-litre turbo four-cylinder engine delivers even more power with 174 horsepower, while consuming slightly less fuel than the 2.0-litre engine. It's surprising, but true!
In terms of safety, the Honda Civic offers an optional range of driver assistance systems found in the Honda Sensing package. Automatic braking, lane departure prevention, intelligent cruise control and collision warning are just some of the technologies we find in Honda Sensing.
